My name is Alejandro and I play as DJ Jandor. I live in Vélez-Málaga and I have worked weddings, private parties and clubs since 2024.
What I like most about this is watching people enjoy themselves. So I don't play for me, I play for whoever is on the dance floor: if what gets you out of your seat is reggaeton, reggaeton it will be, and if it's rock, rock it will be.
I study at the municipal music school in Vélez-Málaga, starting my fourth year this term, and I play bass in a band that writes its own songs. One day I would like to produce.
I dance as well, so during the party I am watching the floor and adjusting as I go. I come from photography, where being curious and observant came in handy.
I was the resident DJ at La Máquina (Málaga): four months, three nights a week, six hours a night.
I am still mixing every week, and when my schedule allows I stream live sets on Twitch: come by and ask for your track!

Frequently Asked Questions
These are some frequently asked questions that might help you before booking. And if you need more info, feel free to reach out!
Yes, and the more you tell me the better.
Before the event we talk about your taste, the songs that cannot be missing and anything you would rather not hear. I build the set around that.
During the party I take requests if you are happy with that, and I keep adjusting to how the floor responds.
Yes. Whenever my schedule allows I stream live sets on Twitch: it is the most honest way to see how I work.
Some are open format and almost anything goes. Others stick to one style or era (afrobeats, classic house, the 90s...) and I always put it in the stream title, so you know what kind of thing to ask for.
And if you are already considering booking me, a call is the best next step: I will walk you through how I would approach your event.
Yes. I speak Spanish and English, and I am used to weddings with guests from several countries and several generations.
I can build a set that mixes Spanish and international music so no group is left watching from their seats while everyone else dances.
I don't MC: I'd rather let the music carry the room on its own.
My work is the music and the atmosphere, from the booth. I leave the announcements to the people the guests actually want to hear, though if someone needs introducing I am happy to do it.
Music, the sound system, a wireless microphone and a wired one for speeches, basic party lighting and the setup.
I arrive early, set up, run a soundcheck and handle the technical side so you do not have to think about it. You can see the gear in detail on My DJ setup.
A power outlet near where I will set up, and a high table to put the gear on.
If the venue has no table, tell me in advance and we will sort it out.
And if there are technical limits (sound restrictions, difficult access, a curfew on music), the sooner I know the better I can prepare.
For most social events, the setup I bring gives optimal coverage for groups of up to around 150 people indoors.
If your event is outdoors or you expect a bigger crowd, we assess it against the space and its acoustics, and it can be scaled up by renting additional equipment.
I always have a plan B. I bring backup gear and arrive early to set up and test everything.
In the unlikely case I could not make it, I have trusted DJs so your event is not left without music.
The sooner the better, especially from spring through summer, when the calendar fills up.
That said, if your event is coming up soon, ask anyway: if the date is free, I would be glad to take it.
With a 30% deposit, which is what holds the date. The rest is paid on the day of the event.
For weddings we also sign a contract covering everything agreed: schedule, venue, duration and price.
You can pay by bank transfer, Bizum or cash. If you are writing from outside Spain, I also accept Revolut.
It depends on the event: private parties and wedding parties are usually around 4 hours, and a full wedding can run to 8.
If you need more time it can be extended. We agree it beforehand and it is spelled out in the quote.
Yes. I live in Vélez-Málaga and travel is included within 60 km: Málaga city, the Axarquía, Nerja, Torrox, Rincón de la Victoria, Torremolinos, and La Herradura and Almuñécar over on the Costa Tropical.
I have also played in Granada, Marbella and elsewhere, and I will travel anywhere in Andalusia with the travel added to the quote.
